The child almost drowns, water floods downstairs, neighbors notice the leak and have property management break the door open, and Lin Yue rushes back to administer first aid and take the child to the hospital, where the child is saved. Zhou Dahua has concealed her gambling and debts for years, is set up by her mahjong friend Liu Guifen to lose consecutively, accumulates IOU debts up to seventy thousand, and is forced to sell her house. Lin Yue catches them in the act and fiercely scolds her husband for accompanying the gambling.
