The Abyss Beside the Mahjong Table
The mother-in-law is obsessed with mahjong, locking her grandson outside the door, and the grandson falls into a deep pit while trying to pick up his toy car. To cover up her fault, the mother-in-law deceives her son, falsely claiming that the grandson is safe and sound. The son, upon learning the truth, is furious and sends his mother to a nursing home. However, the son discovers his mother's depression, and ultimately steps out of his fury to take a step of forgiveness, rebuilding the family amidst the fissures of kinship.

Para ocultar su culpa, la suegra engaña a su hijo, mintiendo que el nieto está sano y salvo. El hijo, al enterarse de la verdad, se enfurece y envía a su madre a una residencia de ancianos. Sin embargo, el hijo descubre la depresión de su madre y, finalmente, sale de su furia para dar un paso de perdón, reconstruyendo la familia en medio de las grietas del afecto familiar.
