Tea Fragrance Has Not Let an Old Friend Down
Lu Yanzhou, the young heir of the Lu Group, brings his girlfriend, Wen Qinghe, home to celebrate his grandfather Lu Yanshan's eightieth birthday. Following her grandfather Wen Henian's instructions, Wen Qinghe brings two jars of her family's treasured vintage tea as a birthday gift, only for Lu's mother to smash them in front of everyone. Qin Manning, the heiress of the Qin Group, seizes the opportunity to force a marriage, offering a 1.2-billion-yuan project, a 15% stake, and a ten-million-yuan black card to make Wen Qinghe leave. No one could have imagined that this seemingly ordinary young woman is actually the heir to the reclusive Wen family, which has stayed hidden for thirty years. Thirty years ago, when the Lu Group was on the verge of bankruptcy, Wen Henian secretly came to its rescue. On Lu Yanshan's fiftieth birthday thirty years ago, Wen Henian made him a promise: 'When you turn eighty, I'll bring you two more jars.'
