A Mother's Late Repentance
Her husband having passed away early, an elderly rural woman single-handedly raised three children. She is strong-willed, cares much about saving face, speaks her mind bluntly, and often mutters catchphrases like "Is it good or not" and "What is there to fuss about among family." The old woman is exceptionally biased toward her second son, simply because he nearly lost his life to a high fever in childhood and she brought him back from the dead. The complex of fear over losing a child again makes her blindly favor the second son, while she herself believes this is merely maternal love. La anciana muestra una marcada preferencia por su segundo hijo, simplemente porque este casi pierde la vida por una fiebre alta en su infancia y ella lo rescató arriesgando su propia vida.
