The Clear Sky Left to the Eaves
As the rainy season in Nanshi approaches, the long canopy that shelters vendors from wind and rain suddenly cracks at the main beam, threatening the livelihood of the neighborhood. A young fabric artisan voluntarily takes on the heavy responsibility of repairing it, eliminating hazards, searching for timber, and resolving to restore the canopy before the heavy rain strikes. At this moment, the carpenter who left without a word three years ago unexpectedly returns.
