The Counterattack of the Secondary Consort
Modern female college student Sonomura Yumi is suddenly transmigrated one day into a novel she was reading. Her new identity is the "sacrificial pawn" secondary consort of the third prince, Reisen Xuanyi. In the original story, Yumi is fated to lose her life in three months, but she resolves: she will definitely change her destiny and climb up to the seat of the Empress Dowager. Guarded against by the primary wife Kujo Ayako and pushed away by her husband who declares, "My true love is my primary wife," she relies on modern knowledge and a calm mind to break through traps one after another, finally achieving pregnancy and giving birth to an imperial prince. Amidst the intensifying struggles of the inner court, Yumi climbs higher than anyone else step by step — ultimately having the prince ascend the throne and seizing the world herself as the Empress Dowager.
