On the Day I Retired, My Daughter-in-Law's Abacus Was Ringing
Sixty-two-year-old Chen Shouye has retired. His monthly pension of sixteen thousand has become a fat piece of meat in the eyes of his daughter-in-law, Wang Meiling. She coaxed her father-in-law into handing over his card, leaving him only four thousand a month; she also coaxed away six thousand under the guise of a grandson's education fund, while turning around to plot a four-hundred-thousand down payment and seize the old family home. Chen Shouye feigned ignorance on the surface, but secretly hired a lawyer, kept recordings, and set up a trust. When the daughter-in-law thought victory was in her grasp, at a family dinner, the father-in-law publicly tore off her true face.
