Designer Su Wan reunites at the Binhai Cultural and Creative Industrial Park with her former love and industry reviewer Lu Yu, whom she parted ways with three years ago, as they compete for the same project. Their abrupt breakup back then is an emotional knot for Su Wan, and Lu Yu repeatedly attempts to explain the hidden circumstances but faces frequent obstacles. Colleague Lin Zhixia steals the design and triggers a plagiarism controversy, and Lu Yu checks the drafts to help Su Wan clear her name. After missing each other several times, Lu Yu confesses that his family members fell seriously ill and incurred heavy debts in the past, and feeling inferior made him push her away cruelly. Once the truth comes to light, Su Wan does not reconcile immediately, and the two calmly work through their differences and learn to communicate honestly. The sunset district project is successfully implemented, everyone grows individually, and they let go of old wounds to start a brand new romance, interpreting that love should share both wind and rain.
