A Country Bumpkin Cat from the Mountains
Millions of years ago, the Jade Cat Sect was wiped out by the Tianxuan Alliance. Before his death, the sect's last leader sealed the spiritual leyline with his divine soul and buried the sect's inheritance underground, vowing that it would remain hidden until the leyline nurtured a Dao embryo. Millions of years later, a spirit stone shattered, and a jade-colored spirit cat opened his eyes in bewilderment. With no father or mother, he was born of heaven and earth. He knew nothing of human customs or the rules of the world, nor did he understand technology or immortal cultivation. He had even come up with his own name at the last minute before entering the city. Carrying only a few wild spirit fruits, he followed the crowd into the examination hall of Jiangcheng's First Immortal Academy, becoming the most inconspicuous wandering cultivator from the mountains in everyone's eyes. The children of prestigious clans mocked him for being a country bumpkin, while the Control Bureau treated him as an unregistered demon.
