The Profligate Heir, Training the Great Wei - Season 1
In Jinling of Great Wei, Qin Yu, the second young master of Prince Qin's Mansion, appears unrestrained and dissolute, but actually has profound strategies in his heart. His father, Qin Wenyao, is the court's foremost loyal official, unyielding and unafraid of death, while his elder brother, Qin Feng, guards the northern frontier with iron-fisted determination. The Wei Emperor is single-mindedly determined to purge the court and reorganize the political landscape. Yet Qin Yu is pushed right into the spotlight. While hiding his capacities and biding his time, he turns the tide and saves the day: making new tea, purifying salt, and vaccinating against smallpox; resolving the salt shortage crisis and saving people from the pox epidemic; overthrowing treacherous officials, taking charge of the Brocade-Clad Guard, and even training the simple-minded Crown Prince Xiao Nan into the embryo of an enlightened monarch. Watch how this dissolute young master takes the power of the world in his hands and props up a crumbling dynasty.
