Shocking Guandong - Season 1
Qin Zhan was once the legendary man who shook the entire Guandong region with his fearsome reputation. Only after twenty years in prison did he learn during a prison visit that he had a daughter. After his release, he turns down an offer from Hongsheng Group to return to the underworld and instead sets up a barbecue stall at the night market. He falsely claims that he served time for stealing electrical cables, wanting only to live peacefully and protect his wife and daughter. Unexpectedly, his daughter, Qin Niannian, has been subjected to long-term extortion by her classmates and even forced to drink with men. Qin Zhan steps in to protect her, but his identity is repeatedly misunderstood. Only when members of Hongsheng publicly kneel to welcome him on the street is his true identity as the legendary man who shook Guandong finally revealed. His old enemy, Pang Liu, steps forward to shield the criminals and is subdued by Qin Zhan. Pang tries to settle the matter privately, but Qin Niannian refuses.
