The Young Marshal of Zhenbei - Season 3
Xiao Chen travels from being the chief instructor of a modern special forces unit to becoming the useless Ninth Young Master of the Zhenbei Prince's Residence. At the very beginning, his father and eight elder brothers die in battle, yet the imperial court seizes power right before their funeral memorials, demanding the military tally of the Zhenbei Army, taking away his eight sisters-in-law, and seeking to uproot the entire Xiao family. Just when everyone believes that this sickly and incompetent Ninth Young Master cannot shoulder the burden, Xiao Chen uses modern military and political thinking, ruthless tactics, and an iron will to expose the flaws in the imperial edict on the spot, winning the Xiao family a hundred days of survival. He also officially assumes the position of head of the Xiao family and shoulders the last banner of the Zhenbei Prince's Residence.
