The Secret on the Canvas
Late at night, art student Lin Nian creates alone in the art studio, her brush bringing strange, uncanny movements to an unnamed portrait time and again, suspected to be hallucinations. Just as she is perplexed, her friend Su Yao rushes over to inform her that her artwork has been purchased at a high price by a mysterious person, trending on the campus forum, while she herself knows nothing about it. At this moment, art studio sponsor Lu Shen suddenly appears, confessing his intention to host a solo art exhibition for Lin Nian. Unexpectedly, the unnamed portrait created by Lin Nian through her dream intuition turns out to be Lu Shen's mother, who fell ill, passed away, and remained unseen for ten years. On a stormy night with thunder and blackouts, the portrait's anomaly reappears, and Lin Nian suddenly receives a strange text message, its warning phrase thoroughly pulling back the curtain on everyone's mysteries and crises.
