The Azure Cliff Spirit Tiger and the Treasure-Gathering Basin
A young herb-gathering girl on the mountain rescues a guardian spirit tiger that has fallen off a cliff. To repay her kindness, the spirit tiger presents her with a treasure-gathering basin, setting rules that it can be used a maximum of three times a day and that greed is forbidden. With a kind heart, the girl uses the basin to conjure food to relieve the starving villagers in her village. After learning of the treasure, greedy relatives collude with a wealthy merchant in town to seize the treasure-gathering basin in the middle of the night. Ignoring the taboos of the treasure, the merchant uses it in excess, triggering a punishment that causes all the wealth he acquired through unjust means to completely vanish. Everyone then ventures back into the mountain to search for its hidden treasures, ultimately realizing that the true essence of a treasure has never been gold and silver, but a benevolent and good original heart.
