She's Just Pretending to Be a Fool
Ye Zhifang unexpectedly travels through time and becomes the "foolish girl" of a rural village in Northeast China in 1985. To break off her arranged childhood engagement, she travels to the capital with her second older brother, Ye Zhiheng. While pretending to be foolish, she makes money through the clothing business, while her second brother becomes a police officer after courageously helping others. The siblings take in Chen Dongping, a homeless teenage boy, and form a new family. Starting with a street stall, they gradually establish themselves in the capital and build lives of their own.
