End the Partnership and Open a Medical Clinic, You Pass Off Dried Radish as Ginseng
Chen Yun, an inheritor of the Divine Physician's medical legacy, partnered with his childhood friend Xia Li to open Huichuntang Medical Clinic, agreeing to split the profits 50-50 in exchange for Chen Yun providing his medical expertise. When the clinic began earning millions each month, Xia Li gave Chen Yun only 80,000 yuan. Seeing his friend's greed for what it was, Chen Yun decided to end their partnership. Xia Li and his wife took over the clinic and began passing off food-grade ginseng substitutes as genuine ginseng, while driving away the experienced pharmacist, accountant, and other key employees. With help from business partners he had once assisted, Chen Yun fought back. At a traditional Chinese medicine symposium, Chen Yun, now serving as a judge, publicly condemned Xia Li's greed. After abusing medicinal supplements, Xia Li suffered kidney failure and begged Chen Yun to save him.
