I Heard the Roasts of the Whole City - Season 6
Lin Yue finds that his mind-reading ability is starting to spin out of control—not just hearing a "single" inner voice, but hearing the other person's complete stream of thought, like someone playing a consecutive drama at double speed in his brain. Unable to filter or turn it off, he hasn't closed his eyes for three days, and his spirit is on the verge of breakdown. Su Xiaotang asks a mutual aid society for help, and the prophet says, "Superpowers will enhance with the frequency of use, and may evolve or backfire." Clairvoyance teaches him "shielding techniques", Flash uses blindness ability to let him rest briefly, and Su Xiaotang guards him all night. After waking up, Lin Yue finally learns the method to switch the ability—not turning it off, but turning down the volume.
