Bamboo Spirit: Artisan Heart Awakening
In an ancient Jiangnan water town's bamboo weaving shop, A Ruo guards the Zhuyin bamboo weaving technique passed down by her grandfather. Businessman Lin Zong covets the craftsmanship, successively scrambling to register trademarks, impersonating promotions, and competing for the bamboo land. A Ruo takes out manuscripts and land deeds to persistently defend her rights. After winning the lawsuit, she suddenly realizes that the Zhuyin technique should not be privately hoarded. She teaches the craft for free to returning youth, accepts the clan member Shen Yuan returning from Nanyang, and takes her bamboo weaving works to the Paris Handicraft Exhibition. Everyone works with one heart to rebuild the Zhuyin Workshop, and the Zhuyin technique successfully applies for World Intangible Cultural Heritage. A single bamboo strip, generation after generation of artisan heart, the micro-light endures forever.
