This Young Lady Specializes in Curing the Taciturn
Lin Zhiyi is a notorious, rebellious young lady in Haicheng, acting outrageously and never following convention. By chance, she runs into Gu Bei, the adopted son who has been mistreated by the Gu family for twenty years—wearing old clothes, eating leftover food, and taking care of all the household chores, having long since grown used to taking things lying down. She feels pity for this forbearing youth, takes the initiative to approach him, and uses her own way to help him see another way of living, dragging him step by step out of the mire. Under her company, Gu Bei learns for the first time to live for himself, and the two also develop genuine feelings through repeated testing.
