This Cup of Coffee, I Am Not Treating
Planner Lin Jianlu was isolated by the entire team after refusing to advance 1,280 yuan for afternoon tea for her supervisor Zhang Jie. Subsequently, the leakage of the Huayu project and a frame-up involving millions in fake invoices followed one after another, leading to her suspension. Legal Director Lu Chen appeared to handle matters strictly by the book, but secretly helped her get out of trouble using compliance procedures. The two joined forces to investigate the capital chain, exposing Manager Wang and Zhang Jie's embezzlement of duties, and ultimately cleared her name. Lin Jianlu was promoted to planning supervisor, established a new rule of "pay first then buy, keep personal and public matters strictly separate," and marched forward side by side with Lu Chen.
