After the doomsday zombie outbreak, three-year-old little girl Tangdou accidentally gets infected yet retains her consciousness. Relying on her milky voice and innate suppression over zombies, she stumbles her way back to Sunshine Garden. Her parents and grandma disregard everyone's exclusion and welcome her back home, using food, nursery rhymes, Fengyoujing, and loving companionship to fight the virus. As Tangdou's consciousness continuously fades, she repeatedly protects her family and the community amidst crises such as mutant zombies, stray cats, and stray dogs, ultimately waking up miraculously right around when the vaccine is delivered and returning to normal.
