Lin Wan offers a high salary to Su Yao, a distant relative recommended by her mother-in-law, to work as a live-in housekeeper. Su Yao seems obedient and hardworking, but she steals valuables, sows discord, and grows increasingly presumptuous. As Lin Wan’s husband keeps trying to smooth things over and Su Yao presses further, Lin Wan secretly installs cameras to gather evidence. At a family gathering, she exposes Su Yao’s true colors in front of everyone and throws her out. Through the clash between a working woman and a housekeeper who oversteps her bounds, the story shows that kindness needs a backbone and boundaries must be defended. It also underscores the importance of spouses standing together and taking a clear stance.
