While sorting through an old collection, antique restorer Su Yu unexpectedly discovers a wooden box embedded with a glowing crystal. Engraved with unknown patterns, the box cannot be opened easily. She contacts her close friend Shen Ci, a researcher of ancient scripts. Inside Su Yu's private restoration studio (the sole setting), the two decipher the crystal box together, unravel the secrets of the patterns, and uncover clues to an ancient civilization's ruins. An expedition revolving around the ruins begins, as does their seamless cooperation.
