Faint Light Is Hard to Cross, Late Thoughts of Return (61 episodes)

Lin Xiyue was once the matriarch of the premier family in the capital. Devastated by the loss of her son, she left home to work as a street cleaner and adopted two orphans, Zhou Yu and Zhao Xing. Fifteen years later, she was found to take over as chairman of the Lin Group, intending to surprise her adopted sons at their graduation ceremony. However, in order to cling to power and wealth, Zhao Xing looked down on his adoptive mother's background as a street sweeper and severed ties with violence. Zhou Yu, on the other hand, remained filial and stood by her side. When Lin Xiyue's true identity was revealed, Zhao Xing was filled with regret, while the grateful Zhou Yu ultimately inherited the corporate empire.
