At her brother's wedding, Zhao Lili fell in love at first sight with the striking Wang Xin. Mistaking his circumstances for dire poverty, she followed her reckless, passionate impulses and stepped in to help him. In the days that followed, the two kept each other company constantly, growing closer as subtle feelings blossomed. Three months later, Zhao Lili went to intern at her brother's company, only to discover by surprise that the man she had been pining over wasn't an impoverished clerk in need of relief at all, but rather the formidable powerhouse partner Wei Yichen. As it turned out, right from that very first encounter, it was all a tender trap he had meticulously laid out for her.
