College student Chai Yiyi accidentally falls into unknown waters. When she wakes up, she has been taken home by Lan Ye, the most powerful merman leader in the ocean. Transported to a beast world rampant with unseen perils and where males vastly outnumber females, she originally intends to find her footing first, yet ends up cherished and pampered like a treasure by this cold-faced, warm-hearted merman. Chests of pearls are gifted to her, ethereal merman gauze is hers to choose, and a seaside lodge is built just for her—he longs to hold her close every single day. She thought the rest of her days would be nothing but sweet bliss, until suitors arrive one after another, courting her openly while brewing unrest in the shadows. That is, until the Beast God grants her a chance to return to her original world—on one side lies her familiar hometown, and on the other, the merman who gave his all to protect her. This time, how will she choose?
