Jingjing comes from a rural background, but out of insecurity, she lied to her husband Ale that she had been an orphan since childhood. Her rural mother came to the city with an empty purse and no money to shop, so Ale enthusiastically helped pay for it. Learning that the old woman was searching thousands of miles for her daughter and was from the same hometown as Jingjing, he kindly invited her to stay at their home temporarily. Jingjing ran into her biological mother and stubbornly refused to recognize her, causing the mother to leave sadly with a note. Jingjing vient de la campagne, mais par complexe d'infériorité, elle a menti à son mari Ale en lui disant qu'elle n'avait plus de parents depuis l'enfance. Sa mère venue de la campagne est arrivée en ville la bourse vide et sans argent pour faire des emplettes, et Ale l'a gentiment aidée à avancer l'argent. Apprenant que la vieille dame cherchait sa fille de loin et était originaire du même village que Jingjing, il l'a aimablement invitée à loger temporairement chez eux. Jingjing est tombée nez à nez avec sa mère biologique mais a obstinément refusé de la reconnaître, ce qui a poussé sa mère à partir le cœur brisé en laissant une lettre. Ale a réconforté Jingjing, et tous deux ont eu une prise de conscience soudaine, se précipitant pour rattraper la vieille femme et la ramener à la maison pour des retrouvailles.
