Fake Report: See Through the True Colors
Chen Ming saved up two million to marry Song Yiyi. During a physical examination, his doctor friend Li Kai discovered that Yiyi's mother, Zhao Shufen, was diagnosed with advanced lymphoma, and treatment would cost two million. To help Chen Ming test human nature, Li Kai purposely swapped the name on the report to Chen Ming's mother, Wang Cuizhi. Upon learning this, Song Yiyi coldly refused to use the money to save her prospective mother-in-law, forcing Chen Ming to buy a luxury house in full, and even bluntly stated that the old woman had lived enough. Heartbroken, Chen Ming went along with the flow to buy a 2.8 million luxury house and registered it under his mother's name. Chen Ming threw out the real report, exposing that it was Zhao Shufen who had a terminal illness, and publicly announced the cancellation of the engagement, causing Zhao Shufen to go into shock on the spot. Zhao Shufen was kicked out of the hospital room for lacking money to use imported medicine.
