Feigning Poverty for Twenty Years, I Showed My Hand
Shen Jianchuan has lived incognito for twenty years. Wearing plain work clothes to attend his son Shen Yihang's wedding, he is despised by his in-laws and asked to leave the scene in public. Unexpectedly, three extraordinary guests—a female entrepreneur from Ningzhou, a top-tier celebrity, and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences—arrive successively and chorusly call him Dad. It turns out he is the founder of Hengyue Group, and all three are juniors he previously mentored. The bride, having long-standing connections, was not entering this marriage with sincere intentions. After learning the truth, the opposing parents make a special trip to their door to respectfully offer apologies. Once his identity is revealed, Shen Jianchuan is gratified by his son's steadfast backbone and gradual takeover of the family business, and finally gives Lin Jingyi, his girlfriend of three years, a stable and fulfilling home.
