The talented young Chen Sijiu, righteous and well-versed in folk geomancy and Feng Shui, travels to the simple village of Lidukou, only to encounter a series of bizarre and eerie occurrences: a newlywed woman's temperament changes drastically, a village couple dies mysteriously, and midnight opera stages face relentless anomalies. Rumors spread like wildfire, throwing the village into panic. While it appears to be spirits making mischief, in truth, it is all an elaborate scam orchestrated by lawless scoundrels exploiting fear and superstition. Some conspire out of greed, others pretend to be ghosts with malicious intent, and some even resort to crooked sorcery to indulge selfish desires. Fearing no evil, Chen Sijiu steps forward, using wisdom to unravel the deceptive mystery and reveal the truth behind every eerie incident.
