Eighteen-year-old medical student Jiang Youxi is suddenly shouted "Mom" on the street by a newly adult boy. A paternity test confirms that Jiang Xu is actually her son from the future, and the child's father is none other than the aloof young master He Zhuo, whom she tries every way to avoid. To foster love between his parents, Jiang Xu plays various tricks to recognize his dad, accidentally bringing Jiang Youxi into He Zhuo's unknown world. She gradually discovers that this seemingly arrogant man has always been trapped by a childhood cold case and nightmares. Just when the three of them finally become a real family, Jiang Xu recalls the truth of time travel: he returns to the past time and time again, never to matchmake his parents, but to rewrite the tragic ending of the whole family.
