Wei Ming, the 59th-generation God of Cookery, was forced by his ex-wife Lin Xue and her wealthy lover Chen Ze to leave home empty-handed with his daughter. Starting from scratch by selling fried rice at a street stall and later renting a storefront, he met Jiang Xiaoyu, a kind and warm-hearted woman who quietly supported them, and feelings blossomed between them. Relying on his supreme culinary skills, Wei Ming struck back, won the culinary competition championship, earned the admiration of the Tianxiang Group chairman, and became general manager. Lin Xue and Chen Ze ultimately reaped what they sowed and ended up on the streets, while Wei Ming achieved great success and built a brand-new, happy family with his daughter and Jiang Xiaoyu.
