Fisherwoman Lying Low, Wedding Banquet Exposes All Lies
Fisherwoman He Yinshuo married into the Huo family for three years, taking the blame for her ex-husband Huo Yonggang's inability to have children, and was scolded by her mother-in-law Qiao Dafeng and the whole courtyard as a saline-alkali land. She sold her silver bracelet to supply her husband's driver's license exam, wove nets for four months to exchange for the watch on his wrist, and walked eighteen miles in a heavy snow night to send a cotton-padded jacket, yet could not get a shred of kindness in return. As land acquisition rumors spread, the Huo family thought they were going to strike it rich, and Huo Yonggang abandoned his wife to remarry mistress Bai Xiaodie, a habitual offender who tied a pillow around her waist to fake a pregnancy and swindle a marriage. He Yinshuo readily signed the divorce agreement, leaving behind a parting sentence: I wish that not a single one of you is missing.
