Fishing Village's Returning Sail: A Broken Boat Tests the Sons' Hearts
A violent storm destroys Liu Daqiang's old fishing boat in a fishing harbor village, but unexpectedly brings him five million yuan in compensation for retiring the vessel. With a fortune in his hands, the old captain keeps the news to himself. Instead, he puts on his faded, patched fishing clothes, takes a repair bill for 3,000 yuan, and heads into the city pretending to be poor to test the hearts of his two sons. His biological son and adopted son treat their parents in completely different ways. Who is sincere and who is merely pretending? The answer lies hidden in this seaside town built around the fishing harbor. When the truth finally comes to light and the family fortune is settled, one simple lesson cherished by the fishing community is proven true: only those who genuinely stand by one another can find the safest harbor in life.
