Qin Lang was just on a business trip when, out of excessive curiosity, he joined a crowd to watch some drama and accidentally got struck, transmigrating to ancient times. Before he could react, a newborn baby was thrust into his arms, said to be his daughter—and his fifth child at that! Qin Lang was completely baffled: he became a father just like that? Looking around his home, he saw four bare walls, drafts blowing in from all sides, partial parents, and a wife and daughters crying out for food. It was a disastrous start. To make sure his five little sweethearts could live a good life, Qin Lang had no choice but to work hard on his career overnight. He wins over his brothers, brainwashes his biased parents, stands up to his older brother and sister-in-law, passes the imperial examinations using delicious food, living out a genuine everyday story.
