Su Wanqing was brought by her boyfriend Chen Yang to play cards at his childhood friend's house, where the room felt eerily cold. An old portrait on the wall suddenly oozed blood, with faint words warning her that two of the four people at the table were ghosts. Forcing herself to stay calm, she tested them by bringing up past memories only the living would know, but Chen Yang and his friends gave nonsensical answers with hollow gazes. Under flickering lights, their shadows warped on the floor, and their fingertips were icy cold. Su Wanqing shivered in terror as she realized: in this meticulously orchestrated ghost gamble, no one sitting at the table was alive—they were all life-claiming spirits.
