Li Xiulan is the founder of Hongyuan Group, living a low-key life with her husband Zhao Dezhu after retiring. On a stormy night, she brings her gravely ill husband to the Hongyuan lobby to shelter from the rain and wait for their daughter Zhao Yutong, only to be humiliated by sales manager Zhou Kai, who extorts a 5,000 yuan cleaning fee, smashes her phone, and blocks them from seeking medical help. Li Xiulan is forced to reveal her No. 001 founder badge, and once her identity is exposed, she locks down the lobby for a reckoning. She uncovers that Zhou Kai falsified entertainment expenses of 2.8 million and embezzled 1.2 million in petty cash, while his sister Zhou Ting forged paperwork to become sales director and used fake contracts to siphon 1.5 million from the company. Li Xiulan fires the implicated employees, calls the police to arrest Zhou Kai's family, and promotes receptionist Sun Xiaoyu, the only person who dared to speak the truth.
