Five Years of Sheathed Blade, Settling the Entire City (45 episodes)

Lu Chen, the sole survivor of the annihilated Lu family, survived a fall from a cliff after being publicly spurned and having his engagement broken off by his fiancée. After five years of rigorous reclusive cultivation, wielding peerless martial arts and divine medical skills, he purges the remnants in the northern borders and uncovers the truth behind the massacre. Returning to Jiangcheng, he subdues the Shen and Han families with iron-fisted might, sweeps through the Four Great Families to reclaim his ancestral assets, and pursues the culprits all the way to the Imperial Capital. Slaying the mastermind Murong Lie with a single sword stroke, he exposes Commander Qin Zhenyue of the Military Secrets Bureau, who framed his family for treason to cover his own son's crimes. Armed with evidence left by his late father, Lu Chen clears the Lu family's name, declines imperial court honors, and returns to his homeland.
