Two modern Chinese and American youths travel back in time to the Liuzhou anti-Japanese battlefield at the end of 1944. Together, they experience a fierce journey alongside the anti-Japanese guerrillas led by the Communist Party to rescue Flying Tigers pilots and an engineer from the Liuzhou Machinery Factory. This profoundly reveals that victory in the World Anti-Fascist War was not only due to Allied contributions, but also to the persistent struggle and fearless sacrifices of countless Chinese people, as well as the Communist Party of China's role as the pillar of strength.
