For 46 Yuan, I Was Denounced by Thousands
On a stormy night, a primary school teacher accompanied a student and paid 46 yuan out of her own pocket to order fried chicken. Because of a child's remark that 'the teacher also ate french fries,' a single mother concluded she had been shortchanged. Late at night, she demanded a payment screenshot. After the teacher refunded the money, the mother imagined she was 'plotting to make things difficult for the child.' She brought in a million-follower influencer to fabricate a drama about a 'venicious teacher extorting blood and sweat money from parents.' The teacher's photo and home address were posted all over the internet, and she was beaten and forced to kneel. She did not kneel; instead, she pieced together evidence such as transfers, recordings, and dashcam footage, read it all out during a hotel livestream, turned the public tide, and watched the villains turn on each other. Finally in court, the apology she wanted was simply to take her name back cleanly.
