Forest and Snow Sea: Ginseng Doll Is the Village Pet
In the winter of 1978, amidst a blizzard in Changbai Mountain, a four-year-old girl was abandoned in the snow forest by her biological parents in exchange for a city return quota. Forest ranger Lin Zhan rescued her and renamed her Lin Nanxing. Little Nanxing was born with the ability to communicate with all beasts of the mountain and forest, helping her father dig up wild ginseng and discover medicinal herbs. The father and daughter moved from a impoverished outpost toward prosperity, and led the entire village in establishing a cooperative. Four years later, her biological parents coveted wealth and came to the door to snatch the daughter, only to be publicly exposed for the truth of abandonment, ultimately reaping what they sowed. This is a heartwarming story of a tough iron-blooded man and a 'ginseng doll' transcending blood ties and redeeming each other.
