Four Years as Roommates, Yet Eight Yuan in Electricity Bills
After being reborn, engineering prodigy Xiang Qing remembers the lesson from her previous life: her roommate Sun Hui cut the power, destroying her graduation project, and then falsely accused her of academic fraud, costing her a postgraduate recommendation. This time, Sun Hui cuts the power in the middle of the night to save eight yuan on electricity, destroying the graduation project files of her other two roommates, Wang Jiajia and Zhao Yue. Having moved her equipment in advance and backed up all her project data, Xiang Qing also records all the evidence. Unable to finish their projects on time, the three roommates take a desperate gamble and purchase ghostwritten graduation projects. Their defenses are riddled with flaws, and Sun Hui once again accuses Xiang Qing of fabrication. Xiang Qing presents the recordings and original engineering drafts to prove her innocence. A university investigation exposes the ghostwriting scheme and uncovers Sun Hui's kickbacks from the arrangement.
