Brothers on the Road to Claiming Back Wages
Chen Gang, a migrant worker, urgently needs money for surgery because his mother is seriously ill. However, the factory has been withholding wages for a long time. He joins forces with his fellow workers, Old Li, Dashan, and others to collect evidence, carefully preserving recordings and other materials. They seize the opportunity of a company awards ceremony to expose the truth about the unpaid wages. Facing threats and bribes from the boss, Zhao Defa, as well as numerous obstacles including forged wage settlement agreements, the workers receive help from a journalist and a legal aid lawyer. They also persuade the wavering manager Sun to testify and obtain a crucial USB drive containing the account books. After painstaking verification and reconciliation of the accounts, all the workers recover their unpaid wages. The unscrupulous boss and those involved are dealt with according to law, and Chen Gang's mother receives the treatment she needs. The story portrays the difficult journey of ordinary laborers fighting rationally and lawfully for the wages they have earned.

Il datore di lavoro senza scrupoli e le persone coinvolte vengono puniti secondo la legge, mentre la madre di Chen Gang riceve finalmente le cure necessarie.
