BBQ Rampage: Ruling Academy Road
Lin Chen is kicked out of the kitchen by his own uncle, Chen Jianguo. He immediately opens Lin's BBQ right across the street, directly facing the entrance of Jianguo BBQ. He reinvents the secret marinade recipe passed down by his grandmother, while his uncle has completely lost the original flavor of his grandfather's traditional recipe. Price wars, smear campaigns, forced closures, and staff poaching turn the two rival restaurants into a battlefield across the street. The entire Academy Road becomes their battleground, and with nothing but a single skewer, Lin Chen grills his way to building his own empire. Meanwhile, the man who once offered him 60,000 yuan sits in the empty shop across the street, staring at Lin Chen's signboard as he smokes his cigarette down to the very end.
