From Surviving on a Deserted Island to Guarding the Maritime Frontier (57 episodes)

The family of Lin, the Sea-Guarding General, is falsely accused of colluding with the enemy, and the whole clan is exiled to the perilous Evil Water Island. Lin Zheng leads his kin to survive against all odds: he finds fresh water, smelts iron ore, boils seawater for salt, and builds warships and cannons, breaking enemy blockades at sea again and again. When the enemy lures the defenders away to raid the capital, Lin Zheng leads an ironclad fleet a thousand miles to the rescue, saves the emperor at the docks and crushes the enemy lines. Once the injustice is cleared, the emperor pardons the Lin family and rewards their merits. Appointed to govern the maritime frontier, Lin Zheng opens sea routes to trade and founds a naval defense academy, rising from an exiled convict to the pillar guarding ten thousand miles of sea.
