From Mountain Hunter to an Empress of a Generation
Lin Yue, an abandoned baby born with extraordinary strength and regarded as a monster by the villagers, is found and adopted by the old madam of a general's household. She beats her drunken general father into becoming an inspiring example of diligence and ambition, only to watch helplessly as the entire loyal Lin family is betrayed by the imperial court. To avenge her father, she conceals her identity and heads for the frontier, seizing military power and beheading the Turkic chieftain until the northern invaders flee into the distance. Upon returning to the capital, she overturns the imperial court and personally destroys her enemies. From a freakishly strong girl whom everyone despised, she ascends the imperial throne. Since no one in the world can protect her, she will become its master herself. The Empress takes her place on the throne, and all nations come to pay homage.
