Huaining Special Archives Bureau: Season 1
Another female corpse in a white dress floated up in the Qinghuai River—long hair spread across the water, posture quiet, like an exhibit carefully arranged by someone. Forensic pathologist Shen Mengxia has autopsied corpses for seven years, and for the first time she couldn't tell the cause of death; criminal investigation captain Lu Chongyan has investigated cases for sixteen years, and for the first time felt that this river is not right. A white dress, scale powder, glowing mucus, etc., twelve identical floating corpses, pull out an old case blackened out twenty years ago, and another thing sunk at the bottom of the river. Someone uses the souls of living people to culture pearls, pearls can prolong life, and the price is to die in someone else's place. And Shen Mengxia's bloodline is precisely the key that the pearl-culturing pond has waited twenty years for. This time, it's her turn to finish reading the letter her father didn't finish reading.
