The national-level online game "Era of Gods", running for fifteen years, officially shuts down its servers. Just as the whole city is reminiscing over the end of an era of youth, an anomaly beyond everyone's imagination quietly unfolds: NPCs from the game world shatter dimensional barriers and descend en masse into reality. Chen Fan, the founder-president who once forged the legend of the Tianji Alliance under the title "Emperor of Myriad Daos", has lived as an ordinary nine-to-five worker for six years since quitting. On the night of the server shutdown, Ruoxue, Chief Steward of the Tianji Alliance, arrives at his door carrying a century of ledgers to collect debts; closely following her, Ji Jiuge, Sect Master of the Jiuxiao Sword Sect and the sword-immortal wife he married in-game, arrives with sword in hand, demanding they head straight to the Civil Affairs Bureau to register their marriage.
