A Xing, an ancient astronomical instrument restorer, returns to her hometown only to discover that the ancient town's observatory is slated for demolition. The damaged armillary sphere and moisture-damaged ancient star charts urgently need saving. She resolves to restore the ancient instruments using traditional craft and build a museum where ancient and modern skies converse. At first, astronomer Lu Yuan insists that ancient instruments are merely relics, leading to constant clashes between them. After surviving a torrential downpour and exhibition setbacks, they make a stunning discovery: the ancient star charts align remarkably well with modern charts. Supported by her grandfather Xing Bo, courier A Kuai, young child Xiao Xing, and local neighbors, they overcome skepticism from the cultural tourism planners and successfully restore the Ancient-Modern Star Orbit Sphere. The observatory regains its vitality, the starry sky museum comes to life, and the heritage of ancient craftsmanship lives on.
