General, Palm Treasure
A modern soul transmutes into Sui An, a maid of the Chu family. Burdened with an indenture contract, she is single-mindedly saving money to redeem her freedom, wishing only to live a stable life with her sickly, frail father. The unruly and rebellious ninth young master, Chu Yi, is her biggest "trouble." Master and servant bicker daily over trivial matters, yet a subtle attachment grows between them in these small, everyday moments. The lodging Lin family is full of schemes, the court politics are treacherous, and storms arise after Marshal Chu returns triumphantly in command. The grand courtyard is like a net, and she moves step by step with caution, carving out a path to survival amid her obsession with freedom and the pulls of affection and duty.
